Video Recording for Build Execution in Codeless Testing

With the addition of codeless execution and video recording features, TestGrid enhances test execution by making it more efficient and user-friendly. Testers can create, execute, and review tests without writing code, while video recordings provide detailed insights for debugging and analysis.

Prerequisites:

Step 1: Log in to TestGrid

1. Log in to the TestGrid platform using your valid credentials.
2. Navigate to the Codeless section under the Automation menu.
3. Create your project, version, and module to get started.

Step 2: Record a New Test Case

1. Begin by recording a new test case:
   • Enter a name for your test case.
   • Upload the corresponding file based on your application type:
     • APK for Android apps
     • IPA for iOS apps
     • A website URL for web testing
2. Select the target device for your test.
3. Click the “Start Writing Test Case” button to start creating your test case.

Step 3: Execute Test Cases

1. Select the test case you want to run.
2. Click the Run button to execute the test.

• Navigate to the Build Summary after the execution is complete.
• Find the video recording option for the executed test cases in the Build Summary
• Click the link or button to watch the video of the test execution.
