Device Cloud – Multiple Language Support
Overview
The Multiple Language Support feature allows users to type in different languages while using devices in the Device Cloud. This helps teams test applications in real-world language scenarios without switching keyboards or device settings manually.
Users can easily change the typing language during a session and enter text in their preferred language in a smooth and reliable way

Language Selection
Users can choose from multiple supported languages directly from the Change Language option.
Each language uses a familiar typing method, making it easy to enter text naturally.
Supported languages include:
- Arabic
- Bengali
- Dari
- Pashto
- Kurdish
- Farsi
- Hebrew
- Russian
- Thai
- Urdu
Change Language Option
Step 1: Start Your Device Session

Begin a remote session with your chosen device in the Device Cloud.
Step 2: Open the Language Menu
- Locate and click on 3 dot (More Options) within toolbar. This will open a popup window and you can see the Languages
Step 3: Select Your Language
- click on Languages, its open “Change Language” popup.
- A Change Language popup allows users to switch languages instantly.
- The dropdown shows clear language names and scripts.
- you can select the available Language and apply it. users can Apply the selected language or Close the popup without making changes.
Step 4: Begin Typing
- Click on any text field in the device (e.g., a search bar, notes app). Your keyboard input will now generate characters for the selected language.
- Language switching works without restarting the session.
Step 5: For Unsupported Languages (Workaround)
- For languages like Chinese, French, or Japanese which are not yet supported for direct typing:
- in this languages you see “This language is not supported for input. Please use copy-paste functionality.” These languages are still not supported on TG devices. If you wish to write in a language that isn’t supported, you can use the direct copy past feature.
- Type or copy your desired text from an external source (like a document on your computer).
- In the Device Cloud session, paste (
Ctrl+VorCmd+V) the text directly into the device’s text field.
